"What if i'm not the hero? What if i'm the bad guy?"
Yes everyone, it's the 19th of November....
One month away from the day we've all (well, us Irish Twilight fans) been looking forward to...The day we get to be first in queue to see that movie we've been anticipating for months... TWILIGHT!
So, yes it sucks (no pun intended) that we won't get to see the movie on the same day as all the american fans. Why do they get special benefits, right? If you would love to see the movie before any of your friends, here are some great competitions you could win. You never know, let some of Alice's optimism rub off on you and enter these comps! Say it with me now.."Yes we can!"
Good luck!
Any opinions about the movie? Do you think it will/will not be as good as the book? Explain your answer in a comment...
And to be added to the Twilight Ireland newsletter - just send the word 'newsletter' in the subject line in an email to twilight.ireland@gmail.com. You can send any Twilight relating questions to that email too.
I've had a few questions which are skeptical about the information I posted a while ago regarding the Twilight movie release date in the U.K/Ireland.
You can check out Stephenie Meyer's UK website, which is where I read that Twilight will indeed be released on December 19th 2008. I am assuming that this date includes Ireland.

There is a Twilight convention coming to the U.K!
It will be running from the 27th of February to the 1st of March 2009, so there is plenty of time to plan ahead.
It's to bring together fans from all over to celebrate the books and the first movie, and some of the Twilight cast will be present and may even give book readings.
Go to the Eternal Twilight site for more information on this.
Alot of you will have probably seen the newest post on Stephenie Meyer's site. It is written by Stephenie herself, and she explains how the first draft of the book she was currently writing, Midnight Sun (Twilight from Edward's point of view) was leaked on the internet. She is truly upset by it and I can't imagine how she must feel. Midnight Sun she says, is "on hold indefinitely".
I will admit, having emails come everyday, I was told about the online chapters and I did read the next two after the first chapter (the first chapter was posted on Stephenie's site already). But any die-hard fan like me would have, I think. First of all, I wanted to see if the leak was true, or if it was just some randomer writing fan-fiction. But after reading a bit, I could see that it was Stephenie's style of writing.
I do hope that Stephenie will get over this and that she knows that she still has a huge fanbase who love her and will buy Midnight Sun, even if half of it had leaked online. She has decided to post the draft online which you can read by clicking here.

I've been told about a petition which has been created to release the Twilight movie earlier in Ireland and the U.K.
They have only over 100 signatures right now, and 1000 signatures are needed.
Sign HERE if you want the Twilight movie release date to come sooner than January 9th!
