Breaking Dawn Review from an Irish Twilight Fan

General — Posted by dangermagnet @ 14:56
I am a married mother of two, and pregnant with my third so I believe that makes Twilight not only suitable for young adults. I have to say that I loved, loved, loved Breaking Dawn. Book One Bella was really great, the wedding was beautiful as was the honeymoon. I loved the part when they slept together for the first time. Book Two Jacob was excellent, to watch Edward and Bella through Jacobs eyes was amazing. The building up of Jacob and Edwards relationship and the complexities of said relationship. How helpless Jake felt watching Bella. Book Three Bella was unreal, how Stephanie changed the way we saw Bella...... Brill.  You felt the confusion and the rush that Bella felt waking up through her new vampire eyes. Nessie was adorable and gave a new dimention to the vampires and the wearwolves. I loved the tention of the lead up to the fight and the aftermath, and was so sad as it came to the end. I really loved this saga so much so I read it in under a week............ Really shocking seeing as it usually takes me four weeks to read three chapters in a book. I really miss the books and cannot wait until the movies are all out.... Bella and Edward forever xxxxx

Twilight Ireland News Update - April!

Hey Irish Twilighters!

I sincerely apologise for the poor consistency of posts on the site and of the newsletter to those who have signed up for it. It is mostly because one, I have had so much school work that I had to focus on in the past few months, and two,extr-curricular activities have taken up any free time I have. Again, I apologise, and promise, as much as possible, to bring you brand new Twilight new each week.

  •  Now, I assume that you have purchased the Twilight DVD? If not, what are you waiting for?! I got mine in HMV for 17.99 euros, that's the 2 Disc Special Edition, and for those of you with a student card you get a 1.80 euros discount. A bargain that's greatly welcome for us Twilight fans in the midst of a recession!

  • Dakota Fanning has been confirmed to play Jane in New Moon, which is set to come out in November later this year.
Also in regards to New Moon, the biggest question is, "Will Edward be gone for most of the movie, like he was in the book?". I can't answer that question exactly, however, Christian Serratos recently updated her MySpace, stating that she has finished filming New Moon. (This early?) Kellan Lutz made an off-hand comment about finishing filming in Vancouver, which could mean that the vampires are finished too, which is probable as they are only present very little at the beginning and end. Also - check out the other cast of New Moon here on IMDB - look at the actor playing Paul, Alex Meraz - wow!
  • I'd like to ask a favour of you Irish Twilighters. For those of you who have read Breaking Dawn, I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments about it. I am looking for some reviews, which I will read through and post the best ones here on the site. No dilly-dallying, I want honest, open reviews - No judgement! Send your reviews of BD to twilight.ireland@gmail.com.
  • Another thought I was pondering was perhaps, a special nickname for us Irish Twilight Fans? Twirish, perhaps? Email or comment your suggestions, please!
Peace out to all Irish Twilight Fans! Questions and comments to the email above :)

I assume everyone has seen the Twilight movie in a cinema by this point.... If not, get to your nearest cinema, NOW!

I don't know about everyone else but it definitely exceeded my expectations by far. Robert Pattinson is a God. :)

Once again, Merry Christmas to all Twilight fans in Ireland, and may 2009 be wonderful for you. (New Moon- woo!)

Twilight Movie Release Date - Source of Information

General — Posted by dangermagnet @ 16:19

I've had a few questions which are skeptical about the information I posted a while ago regarding the Twilight movie release date in the U.K/Ireland.

You can check out Stephenie Meyer's UK website, which is where I read that Twilight will indeed be released on December 19th 2008. I am assuming that this date includes Ireland.
